Hi there Scott, The handle should be pointing down, not towards the back. Just turn it 90 degrees. I haven’t looked in mine, but this May allow the door to stop in time before hitting. There’s a bump stop above it by the black plastic cover. Try it and let us know. Cheers

I have a Varta battery and the negative is nearest the engine hatch so easy to disconnect when stood for a while. Great battery. Haven’t used the bus much so takes a little while to prime cranking to start, and stood for months. Battery never misses a beat. I charge it intermittently. Good luck

I always use my bus for tip runs with three 1 ton builders bags stuffed full of garden clippings, it’s brilliant!!

My 70 Panel has a metal lever on the inside very low down in the middle. It’s basically hidden but my wooden panel over the door has a small cutout for it. Might just have to look for it? Hope that helps. Cheers
