Bit off thread (ha ha) but pluming up some calipers on my mates hot rod with Wilwood 4 pots , turns out the inlet thread is 1/8 NPT so we have to get 1/8 NPT to 3/8th UNF adaptors.

Have been working trough jobs to get it ready for sale in the spring, so far repaired the cracked paint, got the engine started, found some loose drive shaft bolts and started a good clean.

Have been chasing a fault, 12.6 v at battery and only 9 showing at alternator wire. bypassed earth wire from battery and cleaned terminals on starter and now turns over. Have to find where the sparks have gone today.

Most likely the headlamp dip wire, they do fatigue off. That will be brown.

Is the cut off solenoid working? other than that there must still be a blockage.

Could be wrong but think the auto starter is the type with its own bush?? Check the teeth on the ring gear and count them as well just in case its wrong. Does the starter sound noisy when new as that will indicate bad meshing.

Came over CBA this morning, well its dull, damp and cold! Waiting to see if battery any good ,had to borrow a charger as mine looks like its faulty as only showing 12V . Big news is I have listed in for sale section.

JK used to sell 71 to late bay spacers for the callipers but you could just fit late spindles (good time to fit drop spindles!!!)

Is it a tube one? if an arm one then bend the wire and check the float is okay.
