Pair of doors from an '71 bay

Whats your postcode? Wonder if I could get a client visit down in Wiltshire soon and deliver them (at cost obviously)

Honestly I don't have the time at the moment! I work two jobs and at the moment I could do with more hours in the day. Where are you located?

Non Heated Rear Screen - good condition!

Our van came with a spare for some reason? It's in good nick, hard to picture really. Would rather collection (Windsor, Amersham or Chippenham) to save someone smashing it really! £15

    Best vw show?

What is the best vw show to just go and look around campers to get ideas? We are fairly new to this and I know we have missed most of them but we were a bit dissapointed with the lack of vans on show at bugjam (I'm assuming this is more of social one) but for next year it would be good to know...

Bottoms aren't great- passenger door is worse- the bottom has come out. Here are a couple of pics close up underneath:

The beginning of something beautiful- our '71 bay project

It was my birthday inbetween times... (a few camper related things... I'm sure loads more to come!!) And we fitted the windows.. Nice and tight fit so hopefully no leakages. We also had all the original glass which helps and bought all new seals.

The beginning of something beautiful- our '71 bay project

First job was to sort out the pop top and make the camper water-tight. We started by cleaning up the roof, that we bought from ebay. It came up really nice with no tears that needed repairing and painting the arms of the pop-top

The beginning of something beautiful- our '71 bay project

Then it arrived end of July and took its place on the driveway for work to begin!

We then had it sprayed ford vision blue and diamond white...

Yeah got a fair amount of decent stuff with it, a lack of a working engine is the big one that doesn't come with it. Primed up and a coat put on to find the imperfections:

So we thought we should start a blog as I'm sure we will need advice along the way and we wanted to track progress. This is what our 1971 early bay camper looked like when we first bought it (and travelled to lands-end to view and pay for)... a bit scary to be honest but completely solid!
