    1971 Deluxe Import - A blank canvas

Great to see it out on the road, shame about the MOT failures but if it drives well I reckon that's half the battle! I had the same issue with the electrics/lights but couldn't do it myself so asked that Iain Aircooled Elec from Wigan to sort it for me, he was great.

Does your van live outside year round?

Not that I'm any kind of expert but I have always left mine out year round and definitely wouldn't sell it yet just because of no garage. At least give it one winter, you might like having it to hand for those rare beautifully sunny autumn/winter days that are nice for days out (they do happen...

who uses their Bus in Winter anyway?

I always have, since my bus is usually my only car. Quite liked driving my old bus around the rural Welsh lanes in the snow, though it was a bit cold without the heat exchangers hooked-up! Here in Spain winter should be a doddle.

    6-pot Microbus

Settling in nicely now thanks, we're lucky because it's still warm enough to have a bit of fun in the pool and on the beach before it starts to get a bit cooler. It's awesome being able to drive the bus around in such sunny and warm weather too, big change from rainy north wales :D

1968 Savannah Beige Microbus from California

Thanks mate, it was a lot less stressful this time. I'm running it as a daily here in Spain until we buy another runaround early next year. I say daily, we both work from home so we don't do too many miles, but it's good to know its relatively reliable. Next few jobs are just fit some seals and...

1968 Savannah Beige Microbus from California

Popped down to a local show which was cool. Then we decided to go down to a meet the next day - or at least what I thought was an informal meet but got the wrong end of the stick and there was a bit more to it. Still, nobody minded my rather road-weary bus gatecrashing and there were lots of...

1968 Savannah Beige Microbus from California

Well, we arrived in the villa a few days ago. The journey went pretty much flawlessly for the bus, except for a really annoying but minor starting issue that suddenly decided to resurface after months. I think it may be an errant earth somewhere. Still, flew up the long hills over the pyrenees...

1968 Savannah Beige Microbus from California

Back on the road to Spain again but two members of our convoy have broken down (not us this time!). My parents, the plonkers, both filled deisel cars with petrol. So we're kinda stranded in a fantastic aire in Nothern France waiting for news, the experience dampened slightly by some awful rainy...

    1971 Deluxe Import - A blank canvas

To be honest mate I've been so busy packing up the house and organising ready for the move to Spain in three weeks, I've only had time to clean it. But I've had a good look online and bringing it with me and I'm actually pretty optimistic we'll get it sorted now, looks fairly simple - should be...

Brand new repro heat exchangers for sale

Got a couple of brand new repro heat exchangers from GSF. Never fitted though painted in black hammerite as they were going to be fitted. Just checked and they're 82 quid each on the site but I'll take £100 for a quick sale. Haven't got a pic at the moment as they're at my dads garage but will...

1968/9 (70?) Cut and turn beam for sale vgc

I have a cut and turn beam for sale (just the bare beam, no leaves etc). Bought it to fit to my bus and was in very good condition from a cali import 1969 westie. Painted it with black hammerite to fit but haven't had time and I'm off to live in Spain in a few weeks so it's got to go. Decided I...
