Skill! Ta for sharing. With my mirror having cracked plastic I'll be looking for one at a show to do as you've done.

Just noting that I fitted my mirror using stacks of three double sided pads. Fits well, looks fine and best of all makes it much easier to see behind. A car overtaking disappeared from the mirror just as I could see it over my shoulder. Perfect!

Mine's here as well, but it won't fit over the existing mirror as it is too large for the space. I pm'd the seller, they advised heating the platic surround and easing the old mirror out. Trouble is my plastic surround is old and cracked as well so not a good plan. I thought of double sided...

I did, went to Wales but with my tent as am unsure if the van is losing oil. Better safe than sorry.

I've just heard from the member who has trialled the mesh I have. He seems happy with it so am happy to see what others think. The deal would be I send you a section of the mesh which you need to cut and fit. It is floppy so if you have no old mesh left it could be a problem but ours has been...
