Just read your post and have gone the opposite route, but similar worries now resolved. I needed to replace my tyres having had the bus for nine years and even paid for the tyres. Our garage took ages to fit them and in the meantime I realised getting BRMs to have the van match even more closely...

It’s taken nine years but I eventually got round to getting a set of BRMs for the bus, a final feature for it to match the one which was nicked all those years ago. I was advised to buy 185.65.15 tyres but having tried it seems to me they won’t fit under the bodywork. A good friend has suggested...

I use Hegarty for bsurance and they agree a value that you put on it. I upped mine to £15k recently from £13k and only saw a small rise in the premium, which incidentall6 is half what I used to pay! Recommended. No quibbling, run by car fans apparently.

Big Rich looked me recently, made sense of a dodgy photo I sent, always buy from them. Now using delivery not calling in and have had two parcels arrive quickly as as promised. Plus if you tell them you are an earlbay member you get a 10%/discount!

Good old Harlequin has just made me some new cushions in red to match the van hence the old grey ones are available if anyone wants them. Good quality, comfortable but too grey in a red van! Minor tear s seen in the photos. Full width for rock'n'roll bed. £45 collected from near Swanley junction...
