    Vent speakers?

I don’t often have rear seat passengers anymore. The speaker set up isn’t really loud enough for them though, but it’s fine for the front seat passengers. I imagine those with younger kids sitting in the back would have their own ICE with headphones perhaps listening to their own music.

    Vent speakers?

https://www.classiccarstereo.co.uk/shop/classic-car-speakers/autosound-classic-car-stereo-speakers/7-x-5-dual-voice-coil-loudspeaker/ I fitted this dual voice speaker under the dash. It replaced the old factory speaker. This adds to the door speakers which weren’t enough on their own.

    Those hand waves.

I saw one or two bays on my recent trip to Loch Laggan in Scotland and about half a dozen T25s all gave me a wave. I usually wave back but if I’m hanging onto the steering wheel with both hands it difficult 😅😂

    Rear opening windows

When the weather's really hot we use these fans on the dash top. I have a 12 volt socket in the dash which powers them. As long as the engine's running the battery is OK. They are powerful and not noisy. I have some of that dash rubber matting underneath the fan just to stop any vibration noise.

Welcome to the forum 😀 Don’t worry about asking daft questions it takes a while to learn about these old vehicles. A good guide is essential like Haynes and/or Bentley.

    Gearstick Reverse lock

I had the same problem when I got my CSP shifter. I tried adjusting it myself but took it to a VW specialist in the end who sorted it out. It simply needed adjusting correctly. Maybe if I had persevered I would have done it myself. Unfortunately Paul is no longer in business so I will have to...

    Mot feelings.

I still test mine. I didn’t for a couple of years when the exemption came in, but as I do nearly all the servicing myself I felt better having an MOT tester cast their eyes over the van. Also if I eventually sell it having an MOT every year is some reassurance for a potential buyer. I agree it’s...

    Camping essentials in your buses.

I bought a chair that you make up with poles. It fits into a small bag about 18 inches long and fits in the rear side locker. It means I’ve always got at least one chair or an extra one if I take some regular fold up chairs.
