Having a few issues getting the van back up after 4-5 years 'resting'.. New fuels lines filter and pump and now she runs.. but I noticed gen light stays on.. Drat! Brushes look good and the failure seems quite abrupt. DVM measures only about 4.5 V on the AC scale, but it it even an AC output...

    The best awnings ?

Aye - that's the one. The slope means no caravans except a few at the bottom. Idyllic place and nice old chap that runs it - will have to revisit soon.

Vehicle For Sale For Sale 1971 £17,500

NIce solid looking van, can't be that far off the money, problem with advertising on here - most people have already got one you see. Try elsewhere too then knock back the price. Be aware that you don't often get your investment back - if Wheeler Dealers included an hourly rate they'd lose on...

Whatever happened to my 1969 Earl Bay?

Yeah, the fact it's not been taxed for 30 years is the clincher for me. There's a slim chance that someone has it stuffed in the back of a shed/barn somewhere, but that someone probably doesn't visit here..

Whatever happened to my 1969 Earl Bay?

I expect it will have been scrapped. Lots were at the end of their economic life in the early mid 90s and no-one saw any value in them. I picked up mine in 1995/6 for 750 quid as it had a blown motor and even at 800 for an engine swap folk thought it was not worth it. Different story now of...

    Lock Barrels - L profile..

Hi All Anyone know where I can get hold of an L-profile barrel? While I'm 'having a go' at my locks I figured I could align them all for the same key. Which is fine except my driver's door is a Brazilian one i think and takes a different key type. Cheers
