Lack of heat to the feet !

Hope you are able to. I had a quick look in Lidl this morning (I am addicted to their milk chocolate Oaties) and I couldn't see any. If they have rotated stock I will keep an eye out for when they are back in - I am in their most days because of aforementioned biscuit addiction. P.S, the Aldi...

Lack of heat to the feet !

The other week Lidl had some of those ariel's with a magnet on it, and the same thing with a mirror on it. Very handy! Also had a couple different size magnetic dishes. I don't recall price, but as it is Lidl they are well worth it.

    Ben's 72 Bay

Thank you! Does indeed look amazing. I will have to speak to the garage about it and see what they can come up with. I am good at things, this might be a bit too far for me. I did try the headlining with help and wow that is a hard job, so I will have to pay someone to do that.

    Ben's 72 Bay

Looking super! Those lights you have, do you know how they fitted them? I assume they made a bracket of some sort. That was in our plan years ago (still haven't got a headlining, that is however next on the list). I had sort of given up on the idea and was just going to cheat and get strip lights.

    71 Dormobile " The Beginning "

The only thing I wish I did when we did ours was that engine hatch! And one to get at the fuel tank sender as well. Never works that thing. Looking lovely so far!

    van covers

Eurocarparts have it at the same price. I ordered one last Thursday, free delivery arrived on Saturday. Just put it on, wicked product. It is isn't nasty shell suit type material that will flap around and make loads of noise in the wind. The bag is also much bigger than the cover so it will go...

    1970 Dormobile

I think so yeah. I reckon if I had to do it again it would take me an hour or two tops. The hardest part was the rod through the chassis as mine I presume was rusted solid so wouldn't come apart (can't even tell where it should come apart). I had to cut the end off where it links to the cable...

    Underseat storage

No idea what you are planning to do mat wise, but we got the Madmatz full kit for ours. This includes mats that go over that part of the seat. No extra work needed, I just put Velcro on the seat base bit and on the mat so I could easily take off if we needed the extinguishers.

    Underseat storage

I planned to put a heater under the passenger seat. I have extinguishers under the drivers side one.

    Starter motor stuck on

I will do that today thank you. Took her out last night to pick the kids up. I actually changed the battery earth lead as that was dire, secretly hoping it was that. Started on the drive no problem, started in the petrol station fine as well. When we were all loaded up she wouldn't start. 6/7...

    1970 Dormobile

I got some the other week with the throttle kit. That is brilliant. Not fitted the mud flap brackets yet, but I have offered them up and they are indeed top draw. I will have to drill a new hole in the mud flap themselves, but I suspect that is the flap and not Butty's kit that is the issue.

    Starter motor stuck on

Did you guys change the bush as well? I have a clifford alarm and for the longest time I thought it was the immobilser being a ****. However, I am starting to wonder if the starter motor is sticking. I turn the key and hear a click and that is all. Sometimes she starts just fine, other times...

    1970 San Francisco westfalia resto

I've never had it on a rolling road I trusted. I did one 03/07/2015 whom I had received really good recommendations on. I got 40.08hp at 4100rpm and 64.23 torque at 2700rpm (I still have the print out). A few days later, I realised that the throttle cable was loose. Would have thought an...

    1970 San Francisco westfalia resto

I can't really remember. I need to go through my build thread and see if I ever posted it. I would guess it is a 1776, I remember buying a cam and a lightened fly wheel for it. It also has twin carbs. It was about 9-10 years ago now.
