    New Blog up on Veedubbers.Com

Enjoyed reading that. I'm sure most people have been through the same as those stories! Me included, yes it needed work but the garage said £500 to get it through an MOT, add another 0 and double it...

Cheers Kev! Just needed the headlights adjusting and oddly both outer rear wheel bearings are gone, even though they've only done about 60 miles.

[WANTED] Pair of Heater Tubes (Heat Exchanger to Body)

I was quite surprised how much heat is kicked out! As I've wired them open for the moment I had to drive with the front vents/windows open! That a without the rubbers for the above pipes as no heat wrap!

    photobucket/dropbox

Just testing with the dropbox app. Copy link, inserted it as an image and I don't see the image above, just a little box. I wonder if you could share the image from dropbox to the Photoshop app to get a correct link for boards?

    photobucket/dropbox

From my experience a couple of years a go no, they come up full size on dropbox. I ended up having to use photobicket to upload photos at a board friendly size. Maybe they have changed it, but with my new phone I get Google drive which I've found to be also as useless so still have to use...

    Bleeding Brakes

It's ok if you let your tyre down to the right pressure. Not sure if this will help as I have discs up front now, but I had terrible trouble bleeding my breaks last few weeks, about 3-4 hours in total. It was because the calipers were on the wrong sides so the cyclinder was at the bottom and...

Oil Light and Generator Light Issue

Thanks Matt and Paul, I've given Pete a call so just waiting for a call back. I did some more looking tonight and when you unplug the bulb holders and earth it they flash. My understanding is that they should be earthed in that scenario, so it's almost as though the flasher unit is sending a...

Early Bay 1970 Fuse box carrier problem

As you have the old box still. I bought a C and just put all the fuse holders in the C from the A as there is the same amount of spaces. As said before the A ones are not made as well as the B's and C's. I think it was a design fault identified by VW very early after production.

Oil Light and Generator Light Issue

Cheers guys. I'll have another look at the wiring tonight. I get it's a switched earth so maybe it's wrong at the engine? The lights, indicators all work ok. I'm using normal bulbs, not sure if I replaced those particular ones though.

Oil Light and Generator Light Issue

Hi all, We finally have the engine back in and it seems to be spot on. However we cannot work out why the Oil Light and Generator Light don't come on on ignition. I have replaced the entire loom and up until yesterday all the lights, indicators, horn etc worked perfect. The only thing we have...

    power steering

Privatejobs has one of these fitted and the difference is insane. I believe it is from a Corsa B. My brother got me the steering from the Corsa C but it won't work in the same way. The only thing I don't like about it is you have to move the horn off the steering wheel as the column is solid...
