    Clunk rattle, a Canadian crossover.

Great build thread with fab detailed photos. I think ya bus with longer shoxs and taller chunky winter tyres certainly gives it a more purposeful look :D Got to say though you live in a very nice part of the world, we keep saying how we like to go to Canada, but my problem is I don't think...

    Our South African 69 Bay

Thank you for your positive comments guys, they are very much appreciated. Ultimately we would love a new larger cc engine, twin carbs etc to help to give the old girl a bit more pace and cruising speed, but alas our budget won't stretch that so its just a case of keeping on top of what we have...

    WANTED: Devon overhead rear cupboard

Kinda fell off the radar looking for one of these. So I'm still on the look out for a Devon full width top locker/cupboard. Cheers :D

    Our South African 69 Bay

The bus had been off the road for 18 months, but plans to use it this year inspired us to book it in for an M.O.T. Needless to say she passed with flying colours. The old girl maybe 47 year old, but she is rust free as they come underneath. Now all road legal, just need some nice weather :D

    1972 Westfalia - Sierra Yellow

That's a sweat looking Bay, love the colour and like has already been said, the ride height looks great with white wall tyres. :)

    Our South African 69 Bay

Hi Steve Jayne did come really close to letting her go a couple of years, but at the last minute she just couldn't go through with it and changed her mind. We have't used the bus much in the last six years since we moved house, but we are hoping to get out in it this year. :) Marcus.

    Our South African 69 Bay

In 2008 we spent a load of money on some scrap wood, well a Devon interior that needed restoring. So first a new marine ply floor was fitted. Jayne had bought some new floor tiles from Vanfest so they were layed. Also new rear seat belts, again I think these were a purchase from VanFest...

    Our South African 69 Bay

In 2006 whilst attending another car clubs national weekend we had a little accident. In the early hours of the morning we experienced a bit of freak weather in terms of a mini tornado that wiped through show field and up turned the car clubs 60ft party tent thing which then landed upside down...

    Our South African 69 Bay

Well I'd totally forgot about this thread we'd started some nearly ten years ago  We haven't done a massive amount of stuff to our bus like some on here, but I will update when I can locate some old pictures off the computer. Here's a pic from a few years ago.

    CSP or Gene Berg Shifter

We've got a Scat shifter fitted, nice short throw through the gears so you don't loose much needed rpm.

    Buddy the bus: 69 Dormobile

That's a lovely looking bus you've got yourself. I'd be interested to know what you have had done to the motor over a stock one, I'm looking at replacing our 1.6 single port engine and your bhp/torque figures are pretty impressive. Cheers Marcus.

For Sale: Drive away awning SOLD

This a Outdoor Revolution Navigator. Can't remember exactly when we bought, but guessing around 7 years ago. Not used it much, but has had a professional repair to fabric and one of the poles as it got damaged in a storm. Does not have a built in ground sheet, but we may have a spare ground...
