    What is best ?

I have a waeco compressor fridge and a 100w solar panel with a votronic mppt controller. When camping for a longer time we normally take the eriba and connect it to the leisure battery in the bus. It powers water pump, charging various devices, lighting in bus and eriba as well as the fridge. We...

I guess this might be one for Johnny. I want to pay to sell some parts but the link for the subscriptions just takes me to the 404 page. Could you take a look? Cheers

Did a couple of jobs today but didn't get any pics. I expected to get more done but couldn't find a 15mm spanner amongst all the kids toys in my garage. Ended up spending 2 hours tidying the garage. Adjusted the valve clearances, all the exhaust valves were on the tight side, number 4 being the...

Ouch! I guess we need to start taking the extra costs in to account. The heritage kit seemed to be about £50 more than some others but should end up cheaper after the 10% discount Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk

Thanks mate :) Probably a good call to do it at the same time especially if the unions haven't been touched in a while. I half expected problems so had all the pipe and connectors ready just in case. According to the instructions it should give a width reduction of 3.5mm each side Sent from...

Yesterday was the big day for brakes. It took a bit longer than expected due to reluctant brake pipes and missing tools but overall a pretty easy upgrade and it's made a huge difference! I had gotten very bored of the regular drum brake adjustments, brakes going out of balance and rubbish brake...

    Winnie - Our 1970 Bay

Good luck with the MOT, well worth getting it checked over. I was watching wheeler dealers the other night and discovered there is a special tool for the locking pin things. It could have saved me so much time in the past! It's now on order ready for the next time I'm working on the brakes...

    Air in brake system

What I normally do is take the cap off the upper reservoir, wrap a few layers of cling film over the top and screw the top back on. This should form a vacuum and stop the fluid draining (assuming everything else is air tight). That way you should just need bleed the little bit of air that got in...

Hey, thanks mate. We have one seat fixed with a 3 point belt and on the wardrobe side we have a lap belt and found a seat that is designed for a lap belt. I think that should see is through this year but by next year the youngest will have outgrown that seat. At that point I will look at either...

    Air in brake system

It might not be an issue depending on the mileage you do. I guess the best long term solution may be a new caliper? Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk

    Air in brake system

I have been looking at vacuum pumps recently. Do they work well? I wasn't sure how quickly they would drain the reservoir as it's quite small Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk

    Air in brake system

That's a nightmare. Never easy with these old buses! You definitely need the boot, have you tried swapping then around to see where the problem lies Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk

    Air in brake system

Here you go http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?t=63957 Sounds like csp also sell a converter as well. I think a quick look underneath will tell you if the valve is there and if it is you will probably have to take it out to check it Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk

    Air in brake system

As Mike said it's the same for any drum to disc conversion. I'm sure I've seen a thread on here about it, will see if I can find it..... Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
