    Rear drums for a 68

As far as I could tell th bye only things that needed to be changed were the backing plates and drums.. I think mine took about 3 weeks to arrive when the early drum was on backorder Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk

    Rear drums for a 68

You can convert them but when I looked at it I think the cost of newer drum and the newer backing plate wasn't much different to the cost of the earlier drum..I hoped I wouldn't be replacing them often enough to make the switch worth while :) Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk

    Small amount of restoration...

Having said that, the one Andy and I have doesn't seem to match the 68 or 69 variants... I'm going to have to line it up now to see if the screw holes match up

Some nice info there Mike, I hadn't realised the 68 one was different (everything is one year only :P) Looks like I might have to keep my eyes open for another one at some point

Paint shop recommendations in midlands area please

Midland paintwerks for me as well. They do an amazing job and I had no issues at all with them. We had our bus done in 2012 and it still looks great 8 years on Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk

    Lowered height difference L & R

Oh right not sure of I've seen straight ones for a bus but I've not really looked! Would turning them on the splines compensate for the drop? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

    Lowered height difference L & R

It's relatively easy with adjustable spring plates. Undo the lower shock bolt, loosen the locking bolt on the spring plate and then Jack it up. The wheel drops down low enough to slide out of the arch Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
