    Numbers on wiring diagram..

Can anyone advise me what the numbers mean on a wiring diagram (please say it's ampage rating so I know what wire to buy!) It's the 4s and 6s and 0.5s that are confusing me (actually I'm clueless about the 30 and 50 on the starter motor too!)

    Wiring confusion..

I've bought an empi hard-start relay to ease the load on the creaking ignition wiring and want to position it in the engine bay. This means I'll need to lengthen the wiring, my confusion is does the wiring need to be of any specific rating or is there a "standard" wire that I should buy. There...

    Beaulieu vw day

This is the summer my bus finally gets used for what I bought it for (rather than an expensive driveway ornament!) so this one's going in the diary! Danbury Doug, if there's a space next to you I'll pull up and say "hello"! Monkey

Cheers Mickey Sam I've sent a text. It'd be great if you could send your spare bit over. There's definitely a beer with your name on it if I ever bump into you! Monkey

    Internal fuel pipe material

I pulled this off the inside of the bus, it covers the fuel pipe and is a bit old and knackered. Does anyone know where I could buy some similar material (I don't even know what it is, leatherette? vinyl?) Cheers Monkey

Any of you cyclists on endomondo?

I use Endomondo to track my rides and seeing as there are a bunch of riders on here I wondered if anyone'd fancy a challenge? I could set it up for most miles this year :D Who's up for it?? Monkey

What have you lined your cargo floor with?

I'm sorting the floor in my Danbury too so have been following this closely. After sorting floor rust I'm planning on keeping the same set up as before: 8mm hardboard with vinyl over the top. I considered adding extra ply but worry how it would affect the fixings for the rear seat and that it...

    Couple of interior questions

There's a feature on this in the latest issue of VW Camper and Bus. For the area you're asking about they recommend a thick barrier mat laid on top, doesn't need to be stuck down and then I suppose you can cover it with carpet or ply if you like! My Danbury overhead storage is just screwed on...

    How low...?

Yeah bit of a vague question, that'll teach me to think before I post  . I should probably have said is there a minimum height you can go without narrowing the beam and putting a weeny tyre on the front? I've just had a look at uber cool's build thread and think red9 ez rider coilovers...

    How low...?

How low could you go without narrowing the beam and keeping the same size tyres front and rear? and would there be a preferred method? Cheers Monkey

Floor repair panel - whose is best?

I want to weld in new metal to repair the floor above the engine bay which has rotted due to a manky rear hatch seal. Who manufactures the best repair panel to match the profile of the ridges and whose is the worst and to be avoided. Unless anyone's got a spare bit of floor going spare that I...

What gets removed and what stays? Grinding issues!

I'm getting ready to tackle the front end of the bus but I'm too scared to take an angle grinder to it as I have never put one back together before and don't know what I should be cutting and what I should be keeping in place! Pretty much the chassis legs look ok from underneath but everything...

My Bay has a Splitty Bumper!

Right, I've grown a pair and I'm going to drill out the holes to adapt it to fit early irons. I was worried about it sitting right but tapered spacers will sort that out, cheers for the tip 67panel! John T H, cheers for the offer of a swap but I'll keep my life simple and work with what I've...
