Anyone got a contact for Seasick Steve?

99cents gets you the answer on the brilliantly titled https://www.whorepresents.com/celebrity/seasick-steve" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (The space is after the 'who' - it is nothing to do with gifts for hookers!!) good luck!

    School me on dormobiles...

There is/ was a 'master' light switch on the dash - certainly is on mine - it overrides whatever position the interior lights are on in the back to 'off' - it's not that is it? Try an interior light, leave it on, then try pulling that one in and out. If it is that, I think it is a hangover...

    Buddy the bus: 69 Dormobile

The clasp you found by the way Si is where the aluminium heat/ wind sheilding from the original dormobile 'Radford' stove fits - tucks under there and is held tight. Natty!

one step forward and two back??

Good of you to post an update for future reference - and don't hang the spanners up just yet! Soudns like you did the hard part of the work, it was just a detail that went wrong really - obviously with significant results, but the root cause wasn't anything significant really. Well done with...

    Dormobile wiring

I think the light itself is a Labcraft 'Nordic' model (though mine has been replaced by a later one) - someone will say if this isn't the standard though but I believe it to be...

Dormobile Door Badge Wanted - So annoying!! :-(

Have you tried such avenues as the Bedford or Land-Rover Dormobile conversions? I've seen Bedford CF conversions with the badge you are talking about... If you were to get hold of the badge surround, it might also be possible to get an infill sticker made up in the correct font by copying the...

    Dormobile Interior Parts

Bagsy the metal runners for the seat base please Neil! (If only for the top tip on stain removal!!) Am nowhere near Essex, but I can arrange a courier no bother...

    Restoration Work after fire ...

I know what you mean - even if you find another, it'd never be 'yours', the same way this one is. Hopefully the appeal will find a sympathetic ear. Good luck fella! I wonder - if it does remain Cat A - could you buy it back at scrap value to 'salvage' it? (using some specific parts from...

Reminds me actually, I found a St Christopher and a stash of weed belonging to one of said owners!

    Dormobile bunk covers

First one. One end is trapped behind the aperture trim and the loose end goes over the bunks and onto the turn pegs.

    Dormobile bunk covers

here we go. not necessarily perfect but it does me fine!

    Dormobile bunk covers

Ooh, never knew there were two sets of eyes, that's a good idea! Pics of mine coming up; finished size is 430 x 1770mm plus obviously more for hems... You can be liberal with the 430 measurement too as this just tucks in behind the aperture trim so you can make it as tight as you wish when it...

    Dormobile bunk covers

Do you mean the actual hammock material, or the bit that stretches over them when they're folded away? If it's the bit that covers then when they're away, I recommend extending the material compared with the originals. This way you can make an extra deep hem on the 'free' end, so that the...

    Previous keepers

So mine is virtually new at only 3 previous owners in 48 years? (The first owned it for literally one day less than 25 years!!)
