Best Place to buy Westy Taps?

Hi All, I'm after one of the above, the stainless steel hand pump type version, hasn't got to be an exact replica but you get the idea, where's best to get one from? There seem to be some on ebay but not sure on the quality? Thanks all, Matt

    Krust - any good?

Hi, I don't know the answer but I'm pretty sure you mean Kurust rather the Krust. Quite a few people recommend using it so I guess it's not too bad, although with much of Hammerite's product range, there may be a cheaper alternative! ;)

    Painting Bumpers

Hi All, At the moment I'm considering what to do with my bumpers.. The rear bumper wasn't in great shape as it had had a tow bar fitted to it, not the chassis - just the bumper! (South Africans - what you gonna do? ) The rear one had a few dings and dents and because I wanted the old...

I'm with Mr Brightside, Cannock Chase is great, the follow the dog trail, although it can get quite busy and rather commercial is really good, I've got a Specialized Rockhopper, I know its not many purist's choice but I got it at a decent price and does the job - although its annoying that...

    Westy Sink Holes

Oh right, I thought that changing for a S/S top would just be a straight swap, I still don't really understand why it can't be unless the sizing is compltely different, guess I'll have to have a rethink on that one then, I do want a functioning sink (even if it will be used for storing...

    Westy Sink Holes

Hi all, I've recently been looking around for a replacement sink top for my westy. I've got a SA import SO67R, the original sink top is the white plastic type, not sure if its because of the heat or what but its basically gone discoloured and brittle hence I'm after a new stainless steel one...

    Restoring my '71 bay

I see you've used the second skin stuff, I'm still weighing up between that and dynamat, what do you reckon to it? Has it made much of a difference, the concept seems great but it doesn't seem too logical to me how it can work, it does seem a good idea though :)

    Westy wardrobe mod

This is also something that I have considered, but as my westy wardrobe is a RHD I wouldn't have the heart! (although I am re-laminating it) I'd have to make a template from it, never really thought about the whole 3/4-full size bed plus point though, the reason I though about it was purely from...

    westy veneer

Hi, I'm re-laminating my westy furniture, not using the original colour, personally thought it was too dark - each to their own. Formica have the largest range of lamination sheets but are also the most expensive, I'm using a company called Blackheath Products, a lot cheaper and the same...

    My New SO67R Camper

Hello all, Been a while since my last post - my bus now affectionately named, 'Sandy' is now at Midland Early Bay where Dave, (and to a lesser extent Graham - ;) - sorry, couldn't resist!) are making some dam fine progress! The rust has been mostly cut out now, and thankfully Sandy still...

    Insulation / Sound Proofing

I'm also reading this thread with interest, I'll be doin this soon and I'm not too bothered about heat insulation, more the sound part, and not so much about containing sounds within the car for a good sounding system, I want to reduce the engine noise as much as possible (although I believe the...

    Airmighty Magazine

Ok, you convinced me - I ordered all three from Karmann Konnection - rather give my £ to the smaller business, eventhough it cost slightly more!

    Airmighty Magazine

I've been looking at buying this magazine from KK for some weeks now, but just can't justify the price!! Yes, I know it looks a great quality mag, the ad even says ' thick, high quality paper with a glossy finish' but whats the content and just how good is it? Any readers? And yes, I am...
