Can anyone recommend what i should keep in my vw toolkit and also what spare items it would b best to carry in case of an emergency or breakdown whilst out in the van . Is there certain parts that are just always breaking or going wrong ?

Yes i own a 1971 early bay Betty. I bought her last year and since then she’s had more time in the garage than on my drive. Fingers crossed as i sort stuffs remaining to be fixed 🤞 the joys of owning a VW .
