    Camping with a baby!...

Yeah its our turn too this year, our daughter is 4 months old now, so with her and a 4 month old puppy i'm probably going to have to buy a cab bunk (where is the best place to get one?) and i'm thinking of buying one of those front middle cab seats and a lap seat belt, so we can have the dog in...

    Futbus front disc conversion feedback

I think they are about 750 plus vat and postage so probably 850-900 inclusive. I paid a bit more because i had my hubs machined as a one off to reduce the offset of my wheels to address an issue with my wheels clipping the arches on full lock when hitting a bump. This kit is also vented...

    Disc brake master cylinder

Yep the drum brake switches are wired in parrallel, so if you plug either one of the plugs on the new MC it should work fine ;)

    Brake Light Problem

Are there plugs on the MC switches? (mine are just spade connectors) If so it could be possible that the wiring has shorted out in the back of one of the plugs somewhere?. I had the same fault with mine but one of the switches was faulty, so i just disconnected one of them and now my brake...

    Futbus front disc conversion feedback

Hi my bus runs 15's so went for that option (bigger discs) but they do a 14' option too. In total the upgrade took about 4 hrs including drillling out the dodgy bolt including bleeding. Fairly straightforward ;)

    Steering box

Anyone thought about going rack and pinion?, not cheap at £750??, during our last 3 years doing 300 mile trips down south i always feel totally knackered after 5-6 hours of rocking the steering wheel to keep in one lane on the motorway especially with the buffeting of trucks. Was wondering if...

    Futbus front disc conversion feedback

Hello folks, a bit of feedback and pics of the Futbus conversion fitted to my 68 bus today. Make your own mind up and compare with CSP conversion ;) Ok fitted new top and bottom ball joints to front spindles and painted spindle and torsion arms. I didnt know if the ball joints were worn but...

The bigger the better usually, but either of those will be fine. but use the latter if you are planning to be a mobile welder or fitting heated seats  .

turning the engine over without the dizzy cap on

Dont beat yourself up mate, you have done nothing wrong. It sounds like the starter motor maybe knackered, but before you try and source another i suggest you clean all the starter connections and the earth to chassis lead on the gearbox too ;) . i do have a spare starter if you are stuck but...

Advice needed..CSP or futbus disc brakes?

I'm taking delivery of a futbus wide five disc setup in mid january. I have chosen this kit because futbus have offered to reduce the offest of the hubs by 5mm which will hopefully give me a better wheelarch clearance, this has been a problem since i lowered my bus and fitted it with alloys...

    Make yor own towbar?

Ok cool, the one which fits my bumper brackets would be best because i cant undo the bolts which hold the bumper mounts to the chassis. ;) Thanks 8)

    Make yor own towbar?

I could have done you swap  . No seriously have you towed with it like that? and was it ok :?: . i can stand on my rear bumper without it dropping off :P so it should be ok, after all i'm not talking twin axle caravans just a 3x4ft trailer ;)

    Make yor own towbar?

Hello all, Due to a new addition to the family i'm gonna be lugging a lot more stuff around next year and i dont want too much stuff flying around in the back when negotiating roundabouts etc, so i feel a trailer might be the answer. Looking at the JK site i'm basically paying £150 for...

    JK van cover/ cullender

You gets what you pays for, I had no joy with my JK cover either. Consequently i spent £320 on a pro tech cover and it was excellent ;) . Pricey. but a lot cheaper than a load of repair panels and paint ;)
