    Dormobile roof removal

Did you post in the dormobile Facebook page about this? My struts are on the top position and my canvas is pretty tight with no slack at all. And when I put up the roof I tend to not use the handle but push the struts by hand to lock them in.

How to remove a VW t2 body

What’s wrong with higher guys brother? If you’ve got the grunt from a decent lump then cruising easily at 70mph is ideal.

    Camping meals/food.

Freeze a couple of takeaway curry’s and buy a packet of the rice that just needs a reheat to bung in with the jalfrezi. As they thaw they also keep your beers cold. A previously slow cooked chilli can work exactly the same way.

    Rear indicator LED upgrade

I’m running American style red lenses on the rear and feel like I need a nice bright upgrade. Seems that what the sun shines (remember that?) on the back of the bus it’s a little tricky to see the indicators according to my wife. Anybody using any nifty custom upgrades to their rear flashers?

    More than one ?

We only have the two. The bus and my wife’s Ghia (I’m not allowed to drive it)

    What am I doing wrong

Yup that was me! I found the three legs just wouldn’t stay on the Buttys tool. And the puller wouldn’t stay centralised either. So using the new bearing puller from screw fix solved all those issues and literally took 5mins. If anyone wants to borrow it rather than buy a new one, happy to send...

    Spring Valley Bus meets Corvair

They’re quite good at catching, but not the easiest to then empty owing to the odd design of the spout.

Aren’t DAB radios kind of redundant these days now that your phone can get literally get every single Digital station out there? All you need is a Bluetooth headset or a usb and away you go. Or am I missing something?

    Best mod.... new gearbox

Totally agree about the load rating and as what @karlos said. Tyres ain’t what they used to be. My wife’s T-Roc is heavier fully laiden Vs the bus.

    Camper Jam Weston's Park 1st - 3rd July

Just got back from another great weekend away with mates. Good to meet a couple of you guys too. Just a real shame that there is an increasingly diminishing number of aircooled vehicles in attendance. My current favourite is the Fire Bus bay, the level of craftsmanship on the interior is a...

    Camperjam 2019 - EarlyBay line up (5-7 July 2019)

We are going, still unsure whether to bung the bus in the lineup. What time do I need to be in the lineup by and then what time can I take it back to the camp site?
