It looks like the mid one to me. The photo above is the arm in the new box, what do you think? I’ll take the bearing off the old box tomorrow which is an early bay box. What about the missing spring do you know if the later box should have it? Thank you for your help Sparkywig

Here’s some pics of the difference in gearbox’s. The green one is the new one. I notice that the old box has a spring on the arm. Also can anyone confirm that the clutch with the strange arms is the original?

I’ve got a late bag engine a 1600 tp and I’ve bought a late bay gearbox to match code 002 301 103 D I can’t work out which clutch to put in it. Looking on heritage the thrust bearing for a late bay which should go in my new gearbox should have square shoulders but by the looks of it it’s using...
