Well I've changed the rubber steering coupler, what a PIA that was, old one not to bad really, vw one, but rock hard!. Anyways, all ok except I've now got a 5mm gap under the steering wheel, tbh , not sure what it was before, i believe it's supposed to be 2mm, how do i achieve this?.

Hi, can anyone out there with a spare carb tell me the bore diameter of the brass tube on the side of the carb that the rubber vacuum hose pushes onto because mine has been bunged up with araldite and ive got to clear it out to re-instate vacuum advance, thanks in advance. :roll:
