    Oil smells of petrol.

Check how much oil you take out as well, this may give you an idea of how long it has been doing it. My fuel pump went on the motorway and i stopped as soon as the red oil pressure light came on, and there was a big puff of blue smoke as the cylinders flooded - When i drained the oil...

Here are some tyres I have left over from my bus, and want someone to make some use of them rather than them sitting in my cellar. They are Federal's 185 - 55 R-15's and were on my front wheels. As I said they have been on the bus, and have done less than 100 miles. Cost me about £100 I...

    Sunroof drain tube question (again)

I used Beetle brake switch boots from VW Heritage to collect the water from the sunroof tray and into the pipe. Not pretty but once the headlining is in you won't see them. Seal the back of them with some putty of sealant (whatever is to hand and least messy!) Liking the rubber grommet idea of...

    Sunroof drain tube question (again)

Sadly I no longer have my bus, but after four years of playing with the sunroof on the drive I got quite good at it :D My bus didn't have the lifters, without Graham at Midland Early Bay I would never have know about them. So, what you need are : A bracket from B&Q that fits this...
