When I had my bus worked on , I paid in small 1k increments as we went along with photo proof work was done ... There is no way I’d pay a big lump sum up front ...I do feel for the people that have lost money . Perhaps paying on a credit card would offer some safe guard ?

Avoid cheap Chinese ones ..3M speed glass are decent .i use a couple at work , a Miller and an air fed 3M speed glass

It's a bit more complicated than just replacing like for like ....you need to accurately measure the crank to see if in tolerance .look for wear and scoring ...if any or out then it will need grinding again which will affect new bearings ....Same with case it may need a line bore and again with...
