Hi, On mine the gas line went through the passenger seat bulkhead then along the floor by the walkthrough vent, and then into the cupboard behind the driver seat where the gas bottle was stored and there was a drop out hole drilled in floor

I have seen laquered buses, over a deliberately rusted body. IMHO it looks a bit odd as it is rusty yet shiny if that makes sense. There must be ways of matting this a bit which would be easier than wax to maintain I would have thought.

Hi all, So after stripping the engine bay I find the cable from the battery to solenoid is damaged where it has been rubbing in one of the clips to body. It appears to be a black cable - which I thought is odd considering it is live. Is it 25mm2 and should it be black or red - or am I just...

Yep. I got one of the throttle stops at a show, about £8. Also you can get a rubber brake stop that will fill the two holes near brake pedal (although I believe they fit from underneath (never got round to fitting mine), these are available in uk suppliers. The one by gear lever I don't think...

As you say, they should just pop into place. Having said that, mine need an almight shove one at at time beyond where you would expect. I guess over time the canvas has tightened/dried. I suppose they could be back together wrong? - Only one way to find out! Dave

Mine was a dodgy wire to the fuel shut off solenoid on carb....
