took my van for its m,o,t this morning flew through with no advisories m,o,t examiner was brilliant and symperthetic to the age of the van he was thorough without clouting the bejeesers out of it or trying to prize the ball joints out of there sockets..chuffed to bits.. :mrgreen:

well ive now fitted a set of empi\solex twin 40,s 1641 tp, 009 set to 28,degrees max advance, running a stock exhaust at the moment, its running lovely, no flat spots and boy does it pick its feet up. now my question is what sort of mpg should i be getting, and what would you recomend with...

currently im using morris,s oil i did use fuchs but thats gone round here i would like duckhams but thats nowhere to be seen so whats youre recomendation and what do you guys use stock 1600 tp and only done 3000 miles so certian economy oils are a no go... :mrgreen:
