Hi i had the same problem last year and it turned out to be the relay even after buying new ones from gsf /hertiage etc i ended up finding a second hand vw one and it solved the problem , stay away from the chinese made ones, hope this helps .David

Strange that its number one that had come out too but running a stock carb! Still a tight squeeze tho, screwed it back in again last night and it didn't feel to screw in far enough so hopefully it is a stripped thread thank you for the advice David

hi has any body had a spark plug come out ? traveling from great Yarmouth back to Yorkshire yesterday van was running fine been traveling for about 3 hrs when it started to misfire and make a bloody awwfull noise , stopped found that the spark plug had worked loose ( or so I thought) waited...
