I taken out the engine to replace the cylinder head. Managed to get it back in and connected all the electric connections. Power is getting to lights and wipers but the engine will not turn. I had no issues with the starter motor prior to taking out the engine. Does this mean the starter motor...

Seem I have an issue with the spark plug working itself loose due to a stripped thread. Is is possible to insert a helicoil with the engine in or is it an engine out job? Advice gratefully appreciated.

Have tried just keeping the window seals in place with just clips but one side just keeps working itself loose and the window seal just comes away every time I wind down the window. Does anyone recommend a strong adhesive that will keep the rubber in place?

Having trouble with the van being hesitant going uphill when more power is needed. Suspect that the carb is the problem. Its been rebuilt so many times now and time for a replacement preferably with a new carb. What is the ideal replacement for my solex and of good quality and reliable?

Got my bus out of winter storage and noticed a few patches of black mouldy spots on the pop top canvas. Can anyone recommend something to get rid of the mould and prevent it getting worst. Something that can be sprayed on perhaps? Cheers

I have had this awning for 3 years and the condition is good. There are some repairs to mention - one where the van attaches to the awning, a small tear where sliding door caught the awning. Small repair near door where something fell off a table. A couple of holes repaired in the groundsheet...

Changed spark plugs today. They all came out except the one in cylinder 1 which won't budge and is being an awkward sod!!. Any advice to get the sod moving? Thanks.

My van wont start and pulling off the distributor cap I noticed loads of grey dust. Does this mean the distributor is stuffed or worst still a more serious problem?. :(
