    More updates, nearly finished! Paint! Bumpers! Dash! Heated windscreen now installed. Final touches left including bumper paint, reassembly and then she's back with me for the interior.

    Progress on the windscreen surround. Initially thought I'd need a knew bulge panel but the guys at Midland Paintwerks were able to make their own panel.

    My 71

    71 is same as mine. Not a crossover but VW started changing the design of the early. Flared rear arches, front disc brakes, narrow 5 wheels etc.

    Not sure if the 69 is any different to the 71 Westy but it should have all the things you mention plus the overhead 'headbanger' locker.

    Waeco CR50 Fridge. 12V in the dash. Interior Lights. Propex. Zig Unit. Topped up by solar panel.
