I just contacted the RAC for the same reason............they wanted £104 for 6 days. After a chat with his manager the guy on the phone got it down to £65. Still seems very expensive.

When parked up what is the minimum psi level for air shocks? Do you let all the air out down to 0psi, or does the bag on the shock need to retain some level of pressure to stop it breaking? I am only talking about being parked up, not driving.

Had a similar issue with my bus. Had a narrowed beam fitted so I could lower it a bit more and not have the tyre catch on the outer lip of the arch. Already running drop spindles and GAZ Coilovers. Did not want to have the beam adjusted too low and risk it hitting the floor, so had it lowered...
