I've been tweaking away on my sliding door trying to get it to sit right. No matter what I do I just can't get it to pull in at the bottom back corner to line up with the quarter panel. Anyone got any hot tips?

How the hell do the rods meant to work? are they meant to be under tension or do they catch somehow when the door is up. Mine have never worked and I'd like to get them right before I have the roof lining done. Sorry if this is a silly question.

My tailgate wont stay up, I have the exact right length of stick which works well but I feel I'm letting my bus down a bit. Can I add tension to the rods, do anything at all with me or do I need to replace them? I have some lates laying about at a mates, could I nick the rods from one of them? Lee

With regards to the shift problems, I had similar when I removed mine to install a new beam. I found that the position of the plate on the floor can cause it to struggle to reach certain gears. Try slackening the bolts and pushing it forward toward second, hold it and tighten the plate back up.

What about insulation combined with thermo mats on the windows?

Yeah I think the JK mild steel ones would fit ok. It was the stainless steel ones like creative supply that I had. When you look at then compared to JK ones you can see that then match the roof shape. This is achieved by bending the rack into position on the gutters. My gutters were a bit weak...
