what dizzy has it got?

yeah its pretty easy to push out the front of a bay, as you can get to the inside of the whole panel.

depends on year really, i think crossover differ from early bay, if they are different, just get a pair of late bay spindles.

marine ply if you can afford it, it wont warp

hey fella, you should only have two wires on the coil, the black one to the + (which also goes to the choke and solenoid) and a green wire on the - which goes to the points/condensor inside the dizzy. the other green wire should be your oil pressure switch,

i recently got rid of mine, was my daily for 2 years. i put an 850 yellowtop in it, 90mph and 60-70mpg, fast and scary as hell. only tipped it one. i learnt not to do it again as i had my arm out the window.... outch :S it was a 'top spec' 21E too :) lol

best car i have driven is my karmann ghia, fast as fook, handles shit, but makes your willy twitch when your going sideways at 90mph. sooo much fun. an 86 is defo worth a drive tho, handle really well even when totally stock as this one is... (apart from cage and saftey gear)
