    Reversing Lights? Do they have them?

    My imported early bay from California had them fitted, although I have repurposed them as indicators. Switch was on the gearbox, power feed came from coil terminal and large screw together fuse holder mounted on tinware.

    Hard brake pedal

    I was obviously overthinking this problem, replaced the brake light pressure switches, now lights work every time with even low pedal force. Thank you to those who replied.

    Your Early Bay Picture of the Day .....

    My EB cut out yesterday, engine kept running but little power and died as soon as I dipped the clutch pedal, wouldn't restart straight away but after opening the engine lid it started up and got me home, I put it down to the heat, possibly evaporated fuel in the lines causing a lock.

    The Brake pedal on my 71 LHD bay is extremely hard and takes a lot of pressure before the brake lights activate, The brakes seem to operate ok, and pedal drops slightly when engine starts.this van has disks at front and servo.     Fire Extinguisher choice

    I fitted the Air Cooled one to my Early Bay as well as their fuel cut off solenoid to stop fuel flow from the tank in case of a fire, and new fuel pipe. This was a few years ago now.

    Campmobile Interior help

    Mine has a rubber thing like a door stop fitted inside the buddy seat cover on the backrest, seems like it was an original fitting. I have added a triangular brace to the side of the sink unit now.

    Don't know if you checked this, Gov MOT Web site shows MOT till 14th Feb 2018 and untaxed, but that might be because they are tax exempt.

    Numberplate light fitting

    Same as on mine, screw on left offset from centre so only goes one way, the bulb holder took some wriggling to get it fitted, bulb holder tight fit.

    On mine the hammock that goes over the front seats is stored here and it just pushes that clear of the rear hatch hinges and springs, hope this helps.

    Yes my rubber mats have an edge that goes in to the groove, cut outs make them easier to fit.
