Thank you...I'm just going to retreat to the land of stupid again

    Silver corrugated hoses

OK, hopefully a simple question - my engine bay is missing the two silver corrugated hoses that go from the fan down to the heat exchangers. I'm 99% sure my heat exchangers work to provide heat and the rest of the system is ok. Will these being missing be the reason why the heat is not reaching...

    Shows.

Dub aid and bug jam as both on my doorstep, and possibly volksworld although might not have run the engine in by then and not sure if a stint down the m1 and m25 would be any good for it

    Seatbelt for child seat

Never seen the brackets before? I assume they are used to keep the seatbelt vertical so the inertia system works?

    Seatbelt for child seat

Hoping to get a lot more use out of the bus next year since the little one came along. At the minute, the R&R has two lap belts fitted. but I am wanting to change the nearside belt to a 3 point so that I can put her child seat back there (I have all the factory fixings). Can anyone advise...

Bus values 'through the roof'? really?

I was having this debate with myself earlier in the year. I came very close to selling as we have not been getting much use since the little one came along plus it was kept outside due to no garage which I wasn't overly happy with. Now we are moving to a place with a garage, I have thought "why...

    Which engine?

Thanks for all the advice guys. It is a matter of if I don't get it done now then I'm not sure when I will be able to, and I think I would rather try and upsize the engine now. In the middle of a house move and have a 1 year old, so money needs to go in all directions!! I think I can get what I...

    Which engine?

Doing some investigation, i think the machining of the engine will cost approx £300 and a 1776 engine rebuild kit will be about £800, plus my guy's time to strip it all down and put back together etc, so I may be able to keep in the £2k limit. The only thing that i may need to do though is...

    Which engine?

Thanks for that, and I agree, hills can be a right PITA and takes the enjoyment out of going on longer distances. I'm not bothered at all about top end speed, I just want to be able to cruise consistently. I was thinking along the lines of a 1776, but I was wondering if my current engine could...

    Which engine?

Unfortunately my 1600tp has given up and will need a complete strip down and rebuild. It's not been bad since I have had the bus but always felt a little sluggish. Question is, should I get a full rebuild on this engine in the hope that it will be 'back to normal' and reasonably powered, or...

    Age Related Registration Dilema

Failing that, and assuming you have some spare cash and there are still some about, get the new plate now and then just buy another plate from a site e.g. One ending in 'L' etc
