Any one know which Powerlite to use on a 1600 bay 1972. I think I’ve either got the wrong one or I have another problem! I brought this up before in another thread but I’ve been out of action for a while due to surgery. And now I want to get back to it and sort the problem of the starter...

I didn’t know how to edit my previous post so doing another. Due to being in hospital and recovery I was unable to do the jobs I wanted to the bus so now open to offers as I’m physically unable to crawl about under there anymore. Currently the bus has work needed. Not running at the moment...

No the old starter just didn’t turn over very well. The new battery is 750cca But still the same problem 🥴

Is that 50ah or 50a. Also my new starter motor seems to be disengaging before the engine has started. Which is why I tried a battery upgrade. The starters is a powerlite. Any suggestions?

Do I need to upgrade the battery to accommodate the power lite. Currently have 600amp

1972 crossover Needs tidying up. Runs well New starter motor New master cylinder last year I have had this 8 years now but time and old age have caught up with me. I would have loved to finish it but I just can’t. Looking for £9,000 Chelmsford Essex.

On another note anyone know how to test an oil pressure sender. My gauge isn’t registering anything at the moment.

It’s just the really I can almost get it but not quite. Maybe I need someone younger and stronger to do it. I’m 65 now and not as strong as I used to be 🥴

I have some of those corrugated heater tubes that go from the exchanger to the heating ducts. I took them off when I removed the engine. Now I can’t get them back on. Any ideas?

Top bolt should be “D” shaped. So it doesn’t spin when you’re doing the nut up behind the fan shroud.
