    Roof Transplants and Money

I recently replaced my roof, just the roof skin so there was no problem regarding tailgate hinges etc. Also I only replaced the roof skin from the front roof crossmember back. This does involve a long butt weld but it went OK. As Has been said, lots of drilling out of spot welds, a proper spot...

    Tips on removing ball joints?

I think IIRC, I used a grinder to grind away the bottom of the ball joint, knocked out the innards then cut a slit in the case of the ball joint with a hacksaw and popped that out. I then pressed in the new ones.

Insurance for keeping van in France over summer

I can't help with a name of an insurance Co. but my in-laws are out in Spain in their motorhome. They went out in October and wont be back until March. There are lots of other Brits doing the same so cover must be available.

Roof from the cab back has been removed and an import roof purchased and the skin removed from all the metalwork still attached. After I took off the roof I decided that I may as well replace the right hand corner as it needed repairing top and bottom, a bit of a pain but it's fitted now. It...

    BHF London to Brighton.

I've ridden London to Brighton several times (& back once) though not for BHF. The toughest hill is Ditchling. It's not too bad but has a false top, you are not near the top until you see the triangular road sign with horses Then the top is just a few meters away! From what I understand, it is...

It is a Danbury pop top, I am considering various options, change to a Westy top or even make a new top from scratch. It will be a camper with a functional, contemporary interior. This was just using up some paint just to see what the final colours would look like. Marina blue & pastel white.
