The third number of my vin is an 8. So does this mean it was built in 1968. The m plate says 262. So I have deduced 26 Feb 1968. Does this sound about right ?

Picked up a smiths rev counter off eBay. It is four cylinder and for neg earth car. On the back is a spade connector marked neg and a bullet connector marked positive. Do I just run from these points to neg and pos side of the coil. I tried this and no joy.

I am thinking of using ply covered in Hessian coffee sacks as a headliner in my microbus. Bus is stock 68 microbus interior, a bit rough and ready looking. Thoughts ? Any other ideas ?

My bus has no headliner and I can't afford the £500+ to get a proper one fitted. Any ideas on a cheaper and easy diy fit. My bus is ratty so something in keeping with that look would be good. Pictures advice and or ideas would be cool. Cheers.
