Do you have an auto darkening welding helmet ? - if you don't then they are a game changer just don't use an incandescent bulb (if you can still get them🤔) in any work lamps as they cause them to auto darkening prematurely!

I fitted led strip lights that incorporate a push switch in the body so it minimises the wiring needed, also I do have one of those fancy led head torches with the " wavey" switch but it can be a bit random when it comes to deciding whether it wants to switch on or off with a wave and does have...

    Random power loss (Battery related)

If you have a set of jump leads then next time you get a " no start" before you do anything else get just one of the leads and clip one end directly to the battery and the other to any shiny or clean unpainted surface on the engine and try it again - if it starts it's likely to be an earthing...

Lack of heat to the feet !

Ozzie , check yours doesn't already have an led as I've had mine for years and didn't realise until recently it has an led - if the magnet has a hole in the centre then it likely has one and you need to remove a piece of paper that isolates the batteries before it will work.

Lack of heat to the feet !

0f course the other thing to try is one of those eBay endoscopes that plug into your phone. They tend to come with various hooks/magnets that fit on the end so you can actually see what you're fishing for. It saved the day for me when I dropped the steering wheel woodruff key down inside the...

Lack of heat to the feet !

Don't know if you realised but that magnet also incorporates a led light in the middle of it too!

    won't start when hot?

Locksmiths sell powdered graphite lubricant in little " puffer bottles" for lubricating locks strangely! It also works wonders on your bus door locks too and as it isn't sticky like grease no dirt sticks to it.

    Dual port Inlet manifold boots

Would you be able to lash up a temporary fix using butyl self amalgamating tape wrapped around the existing boots? It should be readily available from a motor factors or parts store.

How long should body repairs / filler last?

If you are forced to pay for the further repairs see if you can pay by credit card and maybe make the point that you are " paying under protest" , a legal term that makes it easier to take legal action at a later date if necessary. Then make a claim for the cost of repairs from your credit card...

    Leisure battery electrics.

Just be aware for safety's sake that those 3 way fridges that use the disposable gas canisters aren't really intended to be used in enclosed spaces such as a van with the doors closed but rather in things that are well ventilated like an awning. I got very close to buying one before I realised!

    Size of garage

I believe you can get watertight preformed fibreglass ones for exactly the situation you describe regarding the high water table. Best installed during a dry spell though as you wouldn't want it bobbing up like a cork before the concrete floor was set.....

Electric fridge to replace the original cool box?

The Waeco/Domestic fridges come with a brushed metal finished door insert as standard however this is designed to be removable and is just a panel within a frame so that can be removed to allow customisation with whatever finish you want. If you wanted to be really creative why not take a photo...
