I didnt tell the bodyshop to do it cheap, I told them to do what ever needed to be done. I also told them I wanted it to be as good as possible. The door had filler in it before and it never cracked in the 10years I've owned it.

I don't have any pictures of the door before it was filled. I only have 1 photo of 1 of the cracks, think there was about 3 maybe 4 cracks in total but they were difficult to photo. That crack was about 4-5 inches long

I think the big L plate is part of the pop top, you should have 2. They go at the base of the lifting arm / spring. One L plate for each lifting arm. Hope that makes sense

I need to get my steering box sorted for the MOT at the end of the month. Where is the best place to get one from? If there are issues with getting parts why hasn't anyone came up with an alternative? A rack and pinion steering conversion like you can get for splitscreens

I think it is a CB 38mm, that probably explains why it came loose. Is there anywhere in the UK that sells the Berg HD gland nut and washer? Thanks

Thank you for your reply. I used loctite, I can't remember what the thread looked like on the crank as it was a few years ago now. The nut was new, I think it was either cb performance or scat. I haven't used it much, I've done no more then 500 miles.

Yeah, I had csp bolt on rockers then changed them to standard rockers covers as I thought the csp rockers may be knocking as there wasn't much space above them. I made sure the rocker shaft nuts were tightened to the correct torque.
