    We went yesterday and there was more Aircooled stuff there than last year. I have to say some of these camping converted T6’s do look amazing and if I could afford one and had the parking space I’d get one but not at the cost of losing my splitty no way 😂

    Why don’t you just do it the old fashioned way with a relay switched by the alternator sense/trigger pin… keep it simple 😉

    I’m not familiar with the Durite relays but I agree with creationblue, plus to me that’s a bit hit and miss, my bus just has a conventional automotive relay switched by the alternator charge/sense pin so when the alternator is charging the LB is connected and when it’s not it isn’t which to me...

    New turn key engines.

    I used VW Engine Co turnkey service for my new 1776 about 18 months ago and very pleased with their service and they did a great job of renovating the tinwear etc and neatly routing and fixing pipe work and wiring. My bus starts and runs like a dream now 😊

    If there’s enough current travelling through the wire to make solder melt then there is one nasty fault and the loom would probably be on fire or at least smoking as the insulation burns off 🔥
