    Monty the Red Campervan

Why dose it fit better? There is no space top and bottom left and lots of unused space to the sides. Not saying you have to change it lol 😂 just wondering why people did it as the space for the number plate is oblong. To be honest you never saw square number plates on the rear 20 years ago. It...

Beautiful bus but why do most people put a square number plate on the engine lid when it should be oblong?

    LHD/RHD conversion

Buy your dream bus then not a lhd you don’t want. Sorry but it’s ridiculous not only that lhd vans are completely the same as rhd to drive

Wipers seized not working RHD Australian import

I recommend putting a intermittent on because if they are left on for long periods of time they get hot and wear out , hence seize

    Fire Extinguisher choice

I just check my fuel pips every few months probably works better than a fire extinguisher

    Big motors, who's packing what?

Yeah 120c is worrying but slow down to 50 and if it goes down every thing is working ok. I’m sure people have different ideas but I think 100c ish is a good temperature

    Big motors, who's packing what?

Sorry I don’t agree you should never run a aircooled engine too cool. 80c would definitely be too cool. 90 to 100c is ok and if it’s hot up a long hill 110 is totally fine. 👍

    Big motors, who's packing what?

Yeah I have a oil gauge I drove down to Cornwall from Shropshire last July, think the hottest it got was 110 on a long hill on the motor way. I will put a oil cooler on but wanted to wait until I could have the time to do it probably as I do long trips to Spain even Italy. To be honest I don’t...

    Big motors, who's packing what?

Oh great thanks for the info. Luckily enough it doesn’t seem to run hot at all but still thinking of putting an external oil Cooler on. I’ve ordered the clutch and plate you suggested 👍

    Big motors, who's packing what?

Great job very similar to my engine but I put a 123 distributor in mine. Do you think the MSD Billet with MSD 6A control box is a better option? Also dose the deep sump help? Also how do you get on with that clutch in I bullsed up a bit by just putting a lux in I think it dose slip a bit.

    Best Pop Top Conversion?

Yeah I insulated all mine even though it’s a Westfalia. The good thing about the Westy roof is it’s canvas.

    Best Pop Top Conversion?

Sorry not only are the dormobile ugly not only that all you can only have bunk beds and the worsted thing about them you may as well not have a roof because it rains condensation on you all night.
