    FBH fuel tank location…

@W1K1 That’s exactly where I’d planned to put mine. Only difference being the feed goes in from the top.

@sparkywig That’s a neat idea. Gets the fuel out of the living space. Tricky to fill maybe? Do you know someone that could make that wedge tank? If so I’d appreciate their details please.

    Camping heat, gas or diesel????

to be honest it's never going to be me sleeping up there! I'm half way through the diesel heater install so I think that should be enough. But won't be finished plumbing it all in until the end of the year. Reckon I'll get that going and then see how many complaints I get about the cold!

    Camping heat, gas or diesel????

A thermal wrap for the pop top is on my list - must be bulky to store in the bus though?

Really like that solution for the fuel tank (looks lovely work as well!) - would have much preferred to put mine then if I didn't have the second battery in that location.

Bus drove in. Exchanged engine and gearbox as px towards the new set up. I’ve got a detailed list of everything I think if that’s any use to you. Pm if so and I’ll send it across 👍

totally agree with Ozzie. keep it simple to start with. if you can, now is the time to clean everything then fully sound deaden and insulate as much as possible. Once you start fitting out the interior you won't want to take everything back out to insulate! Enjoy! this is the fun bit!

    M4 closure.

Went through the diversions this morning. Heading towards London was ok. HUGE queues heading the other way though 😬

Parts Wanted Bumpers for a 72

Coming back to this I now have replacement front and rear bumpers. The rear I’m now questioning if it’s a ‘71 and will it therefore fit my ‘72? I think it will! So I’m in need of ‘72 rear bumper irons if anyone has any for sale please?!

@sparkywig Without drilling a hole all I can think of is down through the air vents, then into the engine bay…

hardest part would be getting a feed wire inside I recon. not sure you are allowed to have them linked to your full beam so a simple switch on the dash might be the way to go
