    1970 Scooby Powered Hightop

It's been a busy few months with work and crap weather. The van is finally in epoxy primer and the dash painted the correct colour. I do wonder sometimes if it would've been easier to take it to a bodyshop to paint it

    Underseat storage

Wow, this escalated quickly. I've not been off for a while, life has been a tad busy. I'm still undecided as to what to do as of yet. Thanks for the pics @Ben72Bay definitely something to think about the further I get on in the build

Metallic Green. It's called Viper Green and is a VAG colour. I did a test panel out of a rattle can without any primer and did the top half satin black. I quite like the look of it. I'm even debating doing it all myself and saving some money for more goodies for him.

    Headlamp wiring

Did they look good in the end, I'm looking at a similar headlight but in the process of creating a new fusebox and relay setup, trying to find a relay holder for the standard H/L relay is a nightmare, I do like the idea of having 2 separate relays.

It is indeed, I didnt have the time to sand the dash properly as I wanted to check the colour out first. A waste of time but it helped me make the final decision

    T2 High top

Not fitted it properly as of yet. I have got some peel ply to put on the metal part of the roof then planning on using thickened epoxy to make a mould of the roof. Once it goes off I'm planning on using self tappers from the inside, then lots and lots of sikaflex to seal it to the roof. I will...

Nice thanks. Mine are 16s but I'm not overly fond of the fuchs wheels in all fairness. As for colours I want a really vibrant green with black above the waistline. Maybe a slice of the same green around the bade of the high top. Completely different to what I have now

The time has come to change the colour. I genuinely don't know which colours to choose from. It's doing my head in. How did everyone else pick their colour?

    Underseat storage

I was debating a diesel heater on one side and a van safe on the other but it could potentially go a bit awry cutting holes into the seat base. Im happy enough to build the structure back but just querying if anyone had done it so I can look at pics. Velgreeno I have a swivel chair on the...

    Underseat storage

Hi all, I've been debating putting some storage in the void underneath the inside of my front seats. Has anyone tried this and if so was it succesful? Thanks in Advance Lee

    Electrical sockets

Hi Valgreeno, It all depends on what you're running off it and what size battery you have on your van. Like others have mentioned an electric kettle is a canny size draw on your electrics. A kettle for your hob would be better if you aren't planning on having a massive setup. I've been looking...
