reading thru these it seems to be less of a reaction against modern buses at shows but more of a desire to enjoy the bus as a camper and not really wanting the full on, busy (and expensive) festival experience ... which I can empathise with totally...

I am starting this thread after some discussion on the Brighton Breeze thread (events) There seems to be a significant drop off in air cooled classic buses at shows and events. EB used to get really good line ups /displays but it seems very to have been very thin this year eg Stan Hall...

Just a thought..the more people moan about modern buses taking over an event and start staying away then it becomes a self defeating prophecy... isn't the way forwards to reclaim shows by turning out in numbers and showing everyone what real buses look like? ;) reaches for flak jacket

as far as I know, I think tickets can only be bought early Sat morning at Hook Rd and can't be bought at Brighton seafront on the day it changed last year ... I don't know what happens to those who turn up on the day or who are part of club displays best to email the BB team direct from website...

think I need to go to spec savers.... "which you can either print off or save to your phone .." oops!

What happens if you have a dumbphone like me and neither it nor I know anything about QR codes and scanning and stuff... I am sure I am not the only one without this technology... and yes I still write cheques and post things!
