Hi.... Have just bought a 68 bay and am puzzled by the swivel passenger seat. The bus has been in the previous owners family since the late 80's and he said the seat was there when they got it. Looks far too good a job to be homemade but I can't find the m plate to see what the original spec was

I'd agree homemade, never seen that before. Although it does look perfectly done? what is the metalwork like where you'd expect the seat-back / bulkhead to be?
More pics?

I haven't gone as far as removing the glue and carpet but I guess that will show how much of a professional job it is. Will post some more pics up when I do.... Gary

As everyone above has said, it looks great ^^^. And yes, that’s where the detail is going to show. Not sure how legal that would be in the UK as in mot wise but that will all be changing soon anyhow. I’m wondering if it was an optional extra offered by someone like Devon or Danbury or perhaps it was a mod done by an even smaller outfit. It makes so much sense to re utilise that space twice. I love it when ideas use the same space for two different uses and it’ll make the cargo area more spacious as well. Love to see the bulkhead reinforcement when you have it exposed.
