For sale is my very original Savannah Beige 1969 Early bay Imported from Georgia. She was manufactured in April 1969 making her a very early early bay.

She is fully UK registered, MOT'd and Taxed (tax free)

Everything on the van is original, she wear's the original Savannah Beige paint that she left the factory with, although there are patches of rust, patina, dents, marks, scratches and imperfection's, the paint cleans up really really well and shines a treat! All 4 wheels are the originals and are dated 4/69, the tires were replaced within the last year and are propper white-walls with loads of tread!

The engine is the original engine and has only done 70k miles from new, it runs like a dream, pulls really well, has no problems with hills and would sit at 70mph all day long, the heating even works!!!

The interior is the fantastic original microbus interior, with a bench seat up front and 2 bench seats in the back making it an 8 seater! My plan was to remove the middle seat and fit a lift in lift out camping interior. The seats are in great condition other than a rip on the passenger front seat. The orginal door cards and matts are fitted and the original headlining is in mint condition. There is one doorcard missing off the tailgate.

The bodywork is all round solid, there are plenty or imperfections and small area's of rust but as far as I am aware there is nothing too nasty. There has been a few bits of welding in the past including 2 new outriggers and an inner sill, aswell as a new cab floor section. I have polished about 80% of the paintwork and it looks like new!

The brakes were all recently replaced too, including all new cylinders and flexi's so it stops as it should. Hand break is good.

I purchased the van earlier this year with the intention of keeping it, fitting a camping interior, lowering her and touring the south of France and Italy. Unfortunately lack of funds, a huge debt and other projects that need finishing means this cant happen, and we will be going away in something less cool!
