1969 T2a microbus originally from Austria where it lived in an airport.

Engine;

Built in 2012 by Stef at Aircooled Engineering.
Regularly maintained nowadays by by DTH performance here in scotland.

AS41 crank case full flowed
1600cc
New bearings and gaskets throughout
Dual thrust cam bearings
Stock VW 69mm crank
Stock VW connecting rods
Stock flywheel and clutch
CB Performance straight cut cam and crankshaft gears,
Engle 100 cam shaft
Scat cam followers
26 mm oil pump
Scat ali full flow oil pump cover
Scat heavy duty single valve springs
Stock VW heads
Twin Weber 36 IDF carburators and hex bar linkage.
Facet electric fuel pump
Electronic ignitor 1 ignition
Flame Thrower 8mm red leads
Fram external oil filter with -8 Aeroquip hoses and fittings.
New 30hp style fan shroud without heater outlets
Front breast plate without heater holes
Tinware powder-coated gloss black throughout
Custom stainless steel exhaust

Bodywork:

Rust free!
the top half of the van has been painted white & rubbed back to give it an aged look.
the sliding door doesn't sit perfect.
Has a 5pence size ding next to the sliding door from when I slammed it shut once not knowing the door hinge had collapsed.
front & rear overriders
NOS rhd yellow lenses (nearly new)
Headlight guards (not the cheap shit ones)

4" narrowed KL beam.
Dropped spindles
Chassis notched
Tubbed
Adjustable spring plates

Kieft & klock air shock kit (airshocks, compressor, gauges etc..).
15" oval bug smoothie wheels powder coated with matching caps,

Reconditioned steering box
Buttys bits throttle linkage


Interior:

Bulkhead Model.
Original front seats, They are worn but they suit the vans look IMO.
Brown leather upholstered full width Rock&Roll bed.
Matching 'up cycled' trunk bench.
full MadMatz carpet & kickers with matching dash mat
Bamboo under dash shelves
MCJ double slotted steering wheel (natural finish) with German eagle horn push.
Split charge system.
Brand new propex heater
Custom made Wurlitzer speaker fronts
Decent sound system, 4 powerful speakers and amplifier.

Head lining was knakered so I took it down (beyond repair), I've foil insulated the ceiling ready for new head lining.
that's only thing that needs doing on the bus!
