Imported by myself a few years back. It is a 1970 model SO67 Westfalia Campmobile in Pearl white.

It's sat in a friends barn since the beginning of this year, it has had some minor dings repaired and paint blended in.
It took a while to find the right person to do the body repairs, in the end a guy who works at Sportwagen 356 specialist took the job on and repainted a few other bits including the roof and bumpers.
This bus was all OG paint when I got it, so no Hidden repairs.

Next step is refit the interior, pop top roof canvas to be installed and then to start underneath.

All the welding that was required was a small cab floor section and the battery tray

Trying to keep this bus as original as possible, it's not meant to be perfect but is in great shape for a 44 year old Bus that still wears 70% of it original factory paint.

The inside is in great condition, with its full Campmobile70 interior in place, including the original Westy flooring, the cab seats are original and although a little grubby, they are the best early seats I've ever had.

Been collecting parts for this bus for a while now? so it's good to see some progress[]http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/06/25/yzube5e9.jpg

Looking nice in the new paint :) I feel your pain with finding the right painter, my mk1 has been at a bodyshop for 18months and hasn't been touched yet, if I didn't know it'd be mint perfect when done I'd have taken it elsewhere a long time ago lol

Got messed about and waited over a year, then the guy that did the work viewed it on the Monday on his way home from work, gave me a price the next morning and it went to the workshop the next day and back to me a week later, nothing worse than having your bus sitting at someone's workshop for a long period

Thanks for your comments DeeDeeTheBay, only the front nose and rear corners have been repainted, the rest is all original paint, some panels have some small dings and some burnt through paint, so it's not perfect, but I didn't want it to be!
OG paint still shines well for 44 years old
