Oops what have i done

In a moment of weakness, I spent some money I didn't have and bought this 1970 Early Bay Double Cab from the land of Paraguay (via Taypic on this forum, Steve @ restore n more with a helping hand from Carl at Classic Campers)

As funds are now very limited it will be done on a budget (as they always start out  ) but once MOT and road worthy I'll be selling Elvis to fund the big spends.

Thoughts so far are slammed, narrowed n tubbed on air front n rear. Porsche discs n rims. Possibly scooby power out back or if funds allow big Flat 4. Might leave it ratty or, again if funds allow, paint it. Nice set of hoops and canvas on the back too 8)

So far, it's been delivered and is sat being good next to Elvis.

Really need to sort my garage out so at least one can be out the way

Last on the road 2013.............

We order a takeaway in a moment of weakness!

Very jealous! Would love a pickup :p

Not too bad for a work horse.

Sills are fubar'd, in fact, there are no inner sills
Both back corners need replacing, usual battery tray and long side on the right.
Doors are all good, cab floor acceptable and front panel might be full of bodge.

Drop gates are good,

rear not so good.............

Got an awesome exhaust

I like it fella, A mate of mine was looking at it but didn't have big enough balls

Looking forward to progress 8)

Cheers Guys. Sadly no progress at the moment as I have zero funds until I sell my other bus

It will be a winter project me thinks.

Still undecided whether to SLAM it or RAISE it

It's gonna need a fair bit of bodywork so again totally undecided on colour, etc.

Decisions, decisions ................... Nil funds

RAISE!!

Steve's T25 Syncro Pickup think looks good like that.

Plus your no good at lowering vans

Sorry, they let me out the F4D forum :D

Get back to painting yer wagon Mark ;)

Nice buy! I'm surprised it was forsale as long as it was. If i'd had the money it would've definitely been owned by me!

I like it, mind you have a soft spot for single/double cabs. I'd leave I as is body wise, but swap the mechanics as suggested.

Watching a single can on the Samba, got no money to buy it but keep looking just in case it becomes free to a good home
