For sale 1970 tin top bus
easy resto project
starts and drives but no brakes
nice patina
imported earlier this year from california, all duties tax paid.
needs 2 outer sills, small patch on os front arch.
chassis is rock solid
screen has chips and a crack, good second hand unit supplied with good rubber.
exhaust is blowing, good second hand unit supplied
only has front headliner, possibly had ply roof liner, full second had unit with bars supplied.
front seats have got no covers.
needs a battery tray.
has rock n roll westy bed in the back with mattress.
M plate code reads its a Kombi
bus arrived which had been painted in grey primer rattle cans, spent 1 week stripping off the primer to reveal original lotus white paint with great patina. small patch of damage on rear corner which was repaired in the past.
the bus is up for sale as is for £6500, which will come with headliner, replacement sills, battery tray, front screen and rubber, and exhaust.
nice easy winter project.
work can be done on this to a high standard, welding, brake work, paint blending, lowering, clear coating, registering etc. all for additional price. bus is in cornwall for viewing.
