All tuned, serviced and test driven, next stop mot. Cogbox made a superb job of the gearbox, ratios compliment the engine so much better, shifting is nice and it’s quiet. Different league compared to the **** John Walkett cobbled together.



Also been working on this recently, the missus has decided to keep it so been making sure it’s all pukka ready for spring.
 
Took the bus out for a blast yesterday, that’s all there is to report really 🤷🏻 gonna put some slightly smaller idle jets in it next week just to get the low speed AFR a touch leaner but not much going on other than waiting for ninove lol
 


Pre ninove ablutions start tomorrow. Wash, polish and all the chrome cleaned etc.




Also had Grazy’s gnarly 69 panel van in for a full pre ninove service, tune up, new split charge system and a diesel heater.

Hi Karlos, what size are your rear tyres?

I’ve got some new wheels coming and my current rears are 175 something something.

Mine is a little lower so it might be a bit trial and error.

Running height really shouldn't dictate size of tyre you need to keep the rolling radius as close to stock as possible, if on 15's a minimum 185/65/15 but ideally 195/65/15.

Nice one! I never know what the number mean despite reading up on it many times.

I need the rolling size for sure as currently motorways are sluggish even when the revs are high.

Road tyres are 215/60 15. With my built 091 box this gives me 70mph @ 3500rpm
